Thirteen players have arrived at the Super Eagles camp in Antalya, Turkey, as part of preparations for upcoming international friendlies against Iran and Jordan, Naija Footy reports.
Among those present are Fulham’s Alex Iwobi, Paris FC’s Moses Simon, and Lazio’s Fisayo Dele-Bashiru.
The Super Eagles are set to face Iran on Friday, March 27, before playing Jordan on March 31. These fixtures are intended to help the Asian teams gear up for their maiden appearance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
As of Tuesday night, the camp had welcomed 13 players, with Fulham winger Samuel Chukwueze and an Udinese goalkeeper expected to join shortly.
Alongside Iwobi, Simon, and Dele-Bashiru, the camp also features new call-ups Emmanuel Fernandez, Yira Sor, and Philip Otele, as well as experienced figures like Paul Onuachu, Semi Ajayi, Francis Uzoho, Bruno Onyemaechi, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Frank Onyeka, and Adebayo Adeleye.
The team is currently staying at the Bellis Deluxe Hotel in Antalya, and their first training session with the coaching staff is scheduled for Wednesday at 4 p.m. local time (2 p.m. Nigerian time).
Head coach Eric Chelle announced a 23-man squad for these friendly matches. Notable absences include Stanley Nwabali, while Victor Osimhen is sidelined due to injury.
