French Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais have emerged as the latest club linked with a potential summer move for Nigerian teenager Zadok Yohanna, following his stellar performances for AIK this season, Naija Footy reports.

Swedish transfer outlet Fotbolltransfers reports that Rennes have shown concrete interest in the highly-rated 18-year-old forward, who has been attracting attention from multiple clubs in Europe’s top five leagues.

Zadok has started the Allsvenskan campaign on a high note, recording two goals and three assists in seven appearances for AIK. These displays have reportedly impressed scouts from major European teams who have been attending AIK’s recent matches.

Reports from Sweden suggest a surge in interest from foreign clubs monitoring AIK this season, with the Nigerian youngster standing out as one of the league’s most promising talents. Scouts have taken particular notice of his pace, creativity, and overall attacking impact.

AIK recruitment manager Miika Takkula has previously confirmed widespread interest in the teenager, noting that several top European teams are keeping a close eye on him ahead of the summer transfer window.

Despite the growing transfer speculation, AIK hold a strong position in discussions, as Zadok remains under contract with the Swedish side until 2029. Currently, the talented forward is sidelined due to a thigh injury sustained in AIK’s encounter with Djurgårdens IF and is undergoing rehabilitation.
