Kosovan giants KF Prishtina have announced the signing of Nigerian striker Theophilus Solomon for the 2026/27 season, Naija Footy reports.
This acquisition adds a seasoned forward with a rich European background to their offensive lineup.
The 30-year-old joins Prishtina after playing for FC Liria in the latter half of last season. Throughout his career, Solomon has played for various clubs across Croatia, Serbia, Cyprus, Hungary, Albania, Kuwait, and Kosovo, including stints with teams like Rijeka, Zadar, Šibenik, Istra 1961, Partizan Belgrade, Omonia Nicosia, Inter Zaprešić, Újpest, Partizani Tirana, Al Qadsia, Ballkani, Gjilani, Dukagjini, and FC Liria.
Starting at Eco Football Club in Nigeria, Solomon has accumulated over 260 senior appearances and scored more than 50 goals in both league and cup competitions over his decade-long professional career. He also earned a cap for Nigeria’s U-23 team, making an appearance for the Olympic Eagles in 2016.
Solomon’s career highlights include successful periods with Croatian side Šibenik, where he scored 11 league goals in the 2015/16 season, and with Kosovo’s Ballkani and Gjilani. His performances facilitated his moves across numerous European leagues, establishing him as one of Nigeria’s most well-traveled players.
Currently valued at €125,000 by Transfermarkt, Solomon once reached a peak market value of €500,000 during his time with Serbian giants Partizan in 2017.
Prishtina anticipates that Solomon’s experience and scoring ability will strengthen their attack as they aim for a successful run in the Kosovo Superleague and European competitions next season.
